Entries are possible only on the website: www.dolomiteskyrace.com. The entry form, filled in all its parts must be sent not later than Friday 18 July 2014.
Vertical Kilometer entry fees 2014:
To June 30 2014 - 25,00 €
From July 1 2014 to July 16 2014 - 30,00 €
From July 17 2014 - 35,00 €

To complete the entry to the race it is compulsory to send the entry form filled in all its parts to:
- by fax to +39 041 5086458
- by email to dolomites@tds-live.com
- by ordinary mail to TDS srl Via delle Macchine, 14 – 30038 SPINEA (VE)

together with:
- copy of the receipt of the bank transfer or credit card payment;
- copy o fan update medical certificate for agonistic sports required by the Italian lawand valid by the time of the race.

Only the athletes who regularly sent the bank payment receipt and the medical certificate are to be considered officially registered for the race. Please send all the required documents as soon as possible to the above mentioned addresses. The payment of the entry fee entitles each athlete to the race number, the lunch after the race and the withdrawal of a Bailo t-shirt.
In case of cancellation of the race, whatever the reason, the entry fee will not be refund.


CHEST NUMBER WITHDRAWAL
At the withdrawal of the chest number each athlete must pay a deposit of 20,00€ that will be refund at the restitution of the chest number and of the timing chip.


MAXIMUM NUMBER OF ATHLETES ADMITTED
The maximum number of athletes admitted to the Vertical Kilometer is fixed in 200. Those best qualified in the world ranking and teams registered for the European Championship have priority.

ACCOMMODATION INFO
Athletes must provide for their own accommodation. For further information you can contact the Canazei Tourist Information Office at the phone number +39 0462 609600 or bye mail at infocanazei@fassa.com.
It is no longer possible to get a voucher to park motorhomes. The Marmolada Camping is nearby the race office. Ask directly for info and booking.


THE RACE
The race will start at 10.00 a.m. in Ciasates nearby Canazei. The start will be in groups: 20 athletes starting every 4 minutes.
Athletes with highest times obtained in the last previous edition or who take part to the race for the first time and who do not enter in the ISF merit group of the world ranking. For this reason, the athletes must comunicate the time obtained in the previous editions on the entry form.
At 11.00 the top-runners will start that is the top athletes member of the National Team and leading the world ranking. The athletes belonging to this group will be determined by the Jury together with the Organizing Committee.


RULES
The competition is open to Italian and foreign runners , who possess an update medical certificatefor agonistic sports, released by a sports doctor. The certificate must be valid by the date of the race. Runners must be at least 18 years old.

  • Compulsory equipment: Windbreaker. Participants ust wear their ches-vest with the number always visible. The use of poles is optional, the use of windbreaker is compulsory.
  • Rules will be enforced according to ISF and FISKY.
  • The competition must be completed in a maximum of 4 hours and 15 minutes.
  • The Organizing Committee will manage the transportation of the athletes’ clothes to the arrival area. The withdrawal of the clothes must take place within 10.15 a.m.
  • The Organizing Committes cannot be held responsible for any theft, loss or damage that may occur to personal properties left unattended, before during and after the race, in the race office, in the start/finish area, by the swimming pool or in the pavilion nearby the race office.
  • If the weather conditions are considered dangerous for participants, the jury has the authority to change the course or cancel the competition at any time.
  • Registration relieves the Organization of civil and criminal liability for any damage that may occur to persons or property before, during or after the competition.
  • The committee has taken out an insurance against civil liability for risks related to the organization of the race. Howeverparticipants are not covered by this insurance.
  • The Organizing Committes cannot be held responsible for any theft, loss or damage that may occur to personal properties left unattended, before during and after the race, in the race office, in the start/finish area, by the swimming pool or in the pavilion nearby the race office.
